Kristen Vollaro

Kristen is a certified personal trainer as well as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). She is also certified in LSVT big (for people with Parkinson’s disease), as a Spartan SGX coach and in Strong First kettle bell. Her training focuses on proper form and body mechanics for strengthening and injury prevention.

In addition, Kristen has formal boxing training with coach George Lawler, and a green belt in Kempo martial arts. Combing her lifelong passion for exercise and nutrition, Kristen is a health coach, certified through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York and and is currently working towards her Master’s degree in clinical nutrition. Kristen is also a certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach and is inspired by her RSB boxers as they fight back against Parkinson’s disease.

Kristen loves motivating people to start exercising and watching their confidence and enthusiasm grow as they become more proficient at an activity, whether it’s running, learning a martial arts kick or strike, or using proper form in boxing or weights. She enjoys helping people learn to eat well, have more energy, find balance and incorporate fitness into their lives.


Britt Nystrom

Britt became a certified Rock Steady Boxing coach in 2016 and partnered with Squared Circle to start Rock Steady Boxing – Middlesex County affiliate. Rock Steady Boxing was founded in 2006 in Indianapolis, IN by Scott Newman who was diagnosed with PD at age 40. He discovered that training like a boxer lessened his Parkinson’s symptoms. In 2012 the Affiliate program was created and is now world wide. Our program is a group based, intense, high energy and FUN designed to assist participants to reach a new quality of life. Brian Anderson

Brian has been a strength and conditioning coach since 2000. Brian’s experience includes working in the sports medicine physical therapy field strengthening and rehabilitating athletes as well as conditioning athletes in a variety of sports such as baseball, golf, field hockey, football, hockey and basketball. Brian has helped both students and adults strengthen and improve conditioning and performance. In 2008 Brian worked with professional boxers such as USBA & NABF lightweight title holder Israel “Pito” Cardona and Heavyweight Contender Tony Grano as their strength coach. Brian has also worked with both amateur and professional MMA fighters, setting up workout programs to enhance performance. Brian is also an active Rock Steady Boxing volunteer. Brian’s goal is to utilize his rehabilitation experience and his strength and conditioning techniques to help any level athlete improve performance.

Stacy Meisner

Stacy has been teaching boxing and kick boxing conditioning, boot camps and various other group exercise classes in the fitness industry for over 15 years. She is an AFAA Certified Kick Boxing Instructor, an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a Les Mills Certified Instructor. Stacy has had extensive boxing training and continues to focus on advanced boxing techniques and strategies. Stacy is also a certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach and enjoys helping people fight back against Parkinsons disease through the RSB boxing program. Her passion is to bring out the best in everyone regardless of ability or fitness level, and her teaching style is positive, approachable and fun as well as aggressive and demanding. In each class, Stacy strives to make participants feel empowered and confident.
