We make sure you not only get fit, but that you get fit the right way. We focus on proper techniques and individualized workouts designed to get you measurable results and keep you safe.
Traci comes to us with over 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry. She is certified by Reebok for Group Power and by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. Traci has taught cardio kick box, spin, and barre but is currently focusing on teaching boot camp and bettering her client’s well-being through personal instruction. She strives to make each session a new challenge where clients and participants can feel they’ve achieved a new goal. Traci firmly believes that daily exercise aids in bettering all aspects of daily life- from our emotional well-being and feeling well physically, to improved eating patterns and sleeping better. Outside of the fitness industry Traci owns two businesses and has two children in college.
Brian joined the Squared Circle Studio team with over 10 years of Personal Training and Sports Conditioning experience. Brian’s experience includes working in the sports medicine physical therapy field strengthening and rehabilitating athletes as well as conditioning athletes in a variety of sports such as baseball, golf, field hockey, football, hockey and basketball. Brian has helped both students and adults strengthen and improve conditioning and performance. In 2008 Brian worked with professional boxers such as USBA & NABF lightweight title holder Israel "Pito" Cardona and Heavyweight Contender Tony Grano as their strength coach. Brian has also worked with both amateur and professional MMA fighters, setting up workout programs to enhance performance. Brian is also an active Rock Steady Boxing volunteer. Brian’s goal is to utilize his rehabilitation experience and his strength and conditioning techniques to help any level athlete improve performance.
Kristen is an AFAA certified personal trainer and certified Spartan SGX coach. She is currently one of a handful of fitness professionals in Connecticut to hold the SGX Certification, and one of only a few SGX coaches nationwide. The goal of Spartan’s SGX coaches is “building better humans.” SGX is a 12-week periodized program that prepares people both physically and mentally for the challenge of running
an obstacle course race.
Kristen also has formal boxing training as well as a green belt in Kempo martial arts. Combing her lifelong passion for exercise and nutrition, Kristen is a health coach, certified through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners and is currently working toward her Physicians Assistant degree. Kristen is also a certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach and enjoys helping people fight back against Parkinsons disease through the RSB boxing program.
Kristen loves motivating people to start exercising and watching their confidence and enthusiasm grow
as they become more proficient at an activity, whether it’s running, learning a martial arts kick or strike,
or using proper form in boxing or weights. She enjoys helping people learn to eat well, have more energy, find balance and incorporate fitness into their lives.
Dianna has been teaching a variety of group fitness classes ranging from dance fitness, to strength training to boot camps for over 30 years. She is an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, a Les Mills Certified Instructor and a certified Barre Above Instructor. She has also worked as an AFAA Examiner, training and certifying new group fitness instructors nationwide. Dianna motivates participants of all fitness levels with workouts that are fun, motivating and rewarding.
Cindy has been teaching mixed martial arts cardio fitness classes for about 15 years. Her training experience includes kick boxing, boxing, karate, and other forms of martial arts. She is a certified AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and a certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach. Cindy has studied Jeet Kune Do (JKD) and earned her first level certification. She is also Les Mills program certified in Body Combat and Body Flow. Cindy is also a certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach and enjoys helping people fight back against Parkinsons disease through the RSB boxing program.
Cindy’s philosophy is to promote each participant’s fitness conditioning through an aggressive and fun work out that leaves each individual feeling empowered, de-stressed and rejuvenated…and asking for more. Promoting health and wellness has been a long time goal of Cindy’s, as she has been a registered nurse for many years, working in a variety of clinical settings as a staff nurse and nurse leader.
Ken is a firm believer that physical fitness is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. He has followed this philosophy throughout his life by participating in a variety of activities: team sports, individual sports, weight training, martial arts and more. Ken's background includes boxing, kick boxing, Karate and Jeet Kune Do. Ken believes that keeping active and fit removes the “I can’t do that” excuse when new challenges or opportunities arise in life. His balanced, yet firm style helps participants achieve their goals by removing excuses and focusing on results. Ken is an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and enjoys sharing his knowledge with, as well as learning from, people of all skill levels. In his other life, Ken is a research and development engineer at the Lee Company in the R&D department where he has worked for more than 20 years.
Stacy has been teaching boxing and kick boxing conditioning, boot camps and various other group exercise classes in the fitness industry for over 15 years. She is an AFAA Certified Kick Boxing Instructor,
an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a Les Mills Certified Instructor. Stacy has had extensive boxing training and continues to focus on advanced boxing techniques and strategies. Stacy is also a certified Rock Steady Boxing Coach and enjoys helping people fight back against Parkinsons disease through the RSB boxing program.Her passion is
to bring out the best in everyone regardless of ability or fitness level, and her teaching style is positive, approachable and fun as well as aggressive and demanding. In each class, Stacy strives to make participants feel empowered and confident.
We are very excited to add Paula to our Squared Circle team of instructors! Paula made her teaching debut with Squared Circle Studio and is instructing Barre Fitness classes. Paula is a Group Fitness certified instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). Paula has been a participant in the fitness world for over 25 years and is a role model of balanced health and fitness. She is an active mother of two young girls and actively strives to teach her children about positive body images and attitude. Prior to raising a family, Paula was a member of the West Hartford Police Department and knows the true meaning of boot camp! Paula strives to make her classes fun and challenging for all levels of participants.
